| 2006 Junior Summer League |

|
| Through funds raised from the Ladies Benefit League and various USTA grants, WCTA was able to organize its' first Junior Summer League. Bob Kerrigan, WCTA president and Junior Member, Pat San Marco organized the group and oversaw their play over six weeks this summer. | |

| WCTA supports Wimberley High School Texan Tennis Team |

|
The 2006 Wimberley Adult Open tennis tournament benefiting the
WHS Texan Tennis team was held October 14th & 15th. WCTA participated by being a sponsor for the tournament. WCTA volunteers accepted new USTA and WCTA memberships, membership dues, sold WCTA ball caps, and distributed fliers on the status of Tennis In The Park (Wimberley's Blue Hole Regional Park Project), TennisWelcomeCenter.com upcoming free clinic and they handed out the current WCTA Membership Directory.
