Patron members help the WCTA grow and improve tennis in the Wimberley Valley by paying higher annual membership dues, and often, through their volunteer work.
The extra funds go toward the cost of running a non-profit, volunteer organization.
In exchange, it is our desire that you make use of our WCTA members' products and/or services. We also greatly appreciate those members who "donate" extra dues to support our Association.
If you've got items you need to ship - big items, hundreds of little items, or that "one-of-a-kind" item, Craters & Freighters is your one-stop source for ALL your shipping needs! WCTA member Jackie Erskine, and her husband, Clarke are a full-service company - offering expert packing, crating, and shipping services. They ship nationwide, worldwide, and they offer door-to-door pickup and delivery - with full insurance coverage! Shipping is their business and they do it very well! WCTA also thanks them for their assistance in helping with the tournament registration software - especially Clarke, who doesn't even play tennis!
Myers Construction is a team of experienced and talented craftsmen, who construct a variety of quality concrete projects. They do everything from sidewalks to 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse slabs. Owners and WCTA members, Randy and Charlene Myers volunteer many hours both on and off the court for our tennis pleasure. Myers Construction donated the labor and material needed for the pole foundations to hold future light fixtures at courts 4, 5, and 6 on Texan Blvd. They are also huge supporters of the Wimberley High School Texan Tennis Team.
Our 100th and 101st members have joined as Patron members. They are Bob Niel and David Pace. They are the owners of NPGlass, which they founded in 1988. Bob and David design and fabricate a variety of glass objects. Their line ranges from sculptural glass art to functional art pieces to corporate recognition items. The sculptural and functional glass art they create are presently being represented by Glassworks in San Antonio, but they can also be found on the NPGlass web site. Their corporate clients are non-profit organizations, as well as for profit businesses. Most of Bob and David's clients are in the Houston area, but since their recent move to the Canyon Lake area, they are excited about branching out! Bob and David have donated the glass trophies for our tennis tournaments every year since joining WCTA! They also did the trophies for the Texan Tennis Tournament in October and they continue to donate to our Christmas Social door prize and silent auction. Way to go guys - thank you very much!
We are pleased to welcome John F. Greer to our Association. John owns Overlook Plaza and would love to have you call him at 847-0522 for more information.
